Anambra 2017: 36 year old entreprenuer emerges PPA deputy governor

By O'star Eze

Godwin Chukwunaenye Ezeemo, the gubernatorial candidate for Progressive People's Alliance, PPA, has unveiled his deputy, a 36-year old social and environmental consultant, Mr Chigbo Stanley Nkwoka, a native of Abetete, Idemili North Local Government.
Speaking to the press during the event which held recently at the PPA secretariat in Awka, Ezeemo said that his choice of deputy was informed by the need to give youths a voice in the governance of the state. He described Nkwoka as a accomplished entrepreneur who has proven himself as a survivor and should have what it takes to make informed decisions that would reflect the interest of the youths.

On his part, Nkwoka said that it is an honour for him to be running beside the likes of Ezeemo. He said that he accepted PPA because its philosophy is in consonance with his which accommodates the interest of the masses.

"I see this choice as a gift to the youths and I am poised to make sure all the young people in the state rally round PPA to emerge the best hands that would move the state to greater heights."

It would be recalled that Stanley Nkwoka reportedly emerged as the Accord party gubernatorial candidate after her primaries but it turned out that his name was not submitted to the INEC.

When he was asked to react to the development, the PPA deputy governorship candidate said he would rather not react as the issue will be addressed by the court.
