Anambra 2017 Trade Fair will boost the state agribusiness—Committee

The Chairman, Anambra 2017 Trade Fair Planning Committee, Don Ebubeogu has said that his team was working hard to attract more local and foreign investors and captain of industries on agribusiness to the event slated to hold between 13th -25th October 2017 at Dr Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka.

Ebubeogu, a renowned agribusiness industrialist, who disclosed this while leading the team on a courtesy visit to Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) and Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Awka, added that the Trade Fair which is the second edition to be so organised by Association of Anambra Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (AACCIMA) supported by Anambra State Government, is themed National Economic Recovery Through Agribusiness Optimisation. recalled that Onitsha Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ONICCIMA), Nnewi Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NCCIMA), and Awka Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ACCIMA) through their umbrella body, AACCIMA, held 2016 trade fair from November 25 to December 9, 2016 entitled “Jubilee Fair…To Harness Anambra’s Natural Resources for Non-oil Exports, as a World-Class Trade Hub.”

Also speaking, the President of AWKACIMMA, Chief Ndubuisi Nwobu, while thanking the media for their support in 2016 trade fair, urged them not to relent as this year’s event would be a win-win trade fair meant to boost the economy of the various participants and the state as a whole.

Receiving the Trade Fair Planning Committee in his office, the MD/CEO, Anambra Broadcasting Service, Uche Nworah, pledged an unalloyed support of the state broadcast outfit to achieving all Governor Willie Obiano’s economy blueprint.

Also, the General Manager, Nigeria Television Authority, NTA, Awka, Marcelina Iheanacho, who welcomed the planning committee to her office with open hands, described it as a laudable venture mutually beneficiary to all, and charged them to carry the media along with advertorials and jingles.
