Irked by the security challenges threatening human existence, an Anambra State born industrialist, Godwin Ezeemo has urged the government at all level to create an enabling environment for local and foreign investors to flourish so as to engage the teeming unemployed.

Ezeemo, who posited that there would be stable and sustainable security of lives and properties in the society when the qualified jobless were duly engaged, also beseeched the masses to always alert the security apparatus of the happenings in their domain for them to take prompt action.

The publisher of Orient Daily and leader, Progressives Peoples Alliance (PPA) in Anambra State, made this submission while interacting with the newsmen at his country-home, Umuchu, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, shortly after the familiarization visit of the State Commissioner of Police, CP Sam Okuala to Umuchu Police Division.

His words, “There is nowhere in the world multitude of police, army and so on can guarantee security of lives and properties without engaging the teaming unemployed in our societies. Creating enabling environment for investors to come in and create jobs, would help in reducing hunger and restiveness.

“Again, there is nowhere the Europe can colonise us again. It is now left for us, Africans or Nigerians to join hands together in moving our country forward. We all have important roles to play when it comes to security and leadership. And that role is a sacrifice; not money but time, sincerity and selfless services. Kindly be honest and transparent in all you’re doing. And when you have relevant security information, do not hesitate to give it out to those concerned because not doing so could affect you and the society..”
