FRSC Arrests Over 2600 Drivers for Traffic Offence

The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, yesterday said it had captured more than 2,600 drivers for not introducing the speed restricting gadget in their vehicles.

Promoting inRead created by Teads Commander of Rivers State Sector Command, Andrew Kumakpayi, talked in Port Harcourt amid a wellbeing program sorted out for tanker drivers in conjunction with Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, and Medical Women's Association of Nigerian, MWAN. Kumapayi communicated joy that the consistence level of vehicle proprietors in the state to the speed constraining gadget was empowering. He asked drivers to introduce the gadget before the due date slipped by, saying: "We have captured near 2,600 vehicles. Around 30 percent of drivers have their gadget introduced as of now. They have a timetable to introduce the gadget. After the due date, individuals who neglect to go along will be endorsed. Anybody we capture will pay a fine of N50,000 or be arraigned. We have watched over drivers since we need drivers to drive securely on the streets. Most drivers don't have sufficient energy to go for therapeutic consideration so there is have to give this assistance to them to check their sugar level."
