Civil Defence Promises Hitch-Free Sallah Festival, Deploys 6, 500 Personnels

 Image result for pictures of Nigerian civil defence members reports that to ensuring a hitch-free Sallah festival, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC Lagos State Command, Thursday, said that at least 6, 500 personnel would be deployed to various fun parks, praying groungs and other locations within the state.

NSCDC state commandant, Tajudeen Balogun, in his sallah message, signed by the Command Assistant Information officer, Kenny Bada, said that criminals were enemy of both security of agencies and the citizens.

 According to him, “in order ensure we provide adequate security, we have suspended the leave of every officer. They will be strategically deployed to secure government infrastructures, pipeline right of ways, vandal prone areas, government houses; event centers, place of worship, garages, junctions, and flash-point areas.” Balogun urged residents to be vigilant during the celebration and report any suspicious movement and activities within their communities to the Corps and other security agencies in the state, noting that “every citizen and security agencies’ common enemy is the criminal.”
