Anambra State Police Command Appoints First Female PPRO

The Anambra State Police Command has appointed a female, ASP Nkeiruka Nwode as the new police public relations  officer.
Nwode who replaced the former PPRO, DSP Ali Okechukwu is the first female PPRO since the inception of the Anambra State Command.
She holds a bachelor of science degree (B.SC. Hons) in sociology and anthropology from the Ebonyi State University and hails from Ezza North  Local Government of Ebonyi State.
Handing over to Nwode, Okechukwu who has been redeployed to head the anti-cultism section of the command appealed to the people of the State including the media to give her maximum cooperation to enable her discharge her duties effectively and efficiently.
Speaking shortly after taking over officially from her predecessor, Nwode assured that she will carry out her duties to the best of her ability and promised that she will not let the command down as its image maker.
She appealed to the people of the State to always give useful information to the police to enable them tackle the security situation in the State headlong.
Nwode’s appointment came barely 48 hours after Mr. Sam Kaula took over from the former commissioner of police Mr. Hosea Karma as the new police commissioner.
