Stop been Desperado, There would be nothing Like Re-run in Rivers, Gov. Wike Tells Peterside

By News48hrs.com
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has advised the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2015 governorship election, Dr. Dakuku Peterside, not to deceive himself on the possibility of a rerun of the poll in the state.
Wike, who disclosed that Peterside embarked on an illegal campaign on Saturday, explained that the APC leader’s action could heat the polity, further maintained that his lawyers were concluding the process of challenging the ruling of the Justice Suleiman Ambrosa-led Rivers State Governorship Tribunal that sacked him last month.
The Governor, who spoke through his media Assistant, Mr. Simeon Nwakaudu assured that the card reader issue by which his election was nullified had already been expunged by the Court of Appeal.
“The defeated Rivers State APC governorship candidate, Mr. Dakuku Peterside to desist from self-deceit and unnecessary political campaigns as there will be no rerun of the governorship election in Rivers.  We know he is merely dancing to the tunes being played by external forces who want their filthy hands on the resources of Rivers State like they did under the failed administration of Rotimi Amaechi. Rivers voted for Amechi. Petersides use of falsehood and propaganda to take over government house would not work”, Wike said.

However, reacting through the Publicity Secretary of APC, Mr. Chris Finebone, Peterside told Wike to stop playing God and allow Court of Appeal to do their work.
“If Wike says that Peterside is deluding himself on the possibility of any rerun, it shows that he is unstable because it is he that told us that he would win the governorship election even if it were conducted 100 times
