Jubilation in Anambra as Tribunal Upholds Election of Anambra State PDP Legislator extends hands of fellowship to opponent reports that happiness was the best word to describe the moods of Ndi Anambra today as Justice Naiya Aganaba led Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Awka,Anambra State upheld the election of Engr Charles Ezeani of the Peoples Democratic Party[PDP] for Anaocha State Constituency 11.

Delivering judgement on the petition filed by the candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance[APGA],Alloy Ejike ,challenging INEC declaration of the PDP candidate as the winner of the election,Justtice Aganaba held that evidences before the tribunal showed that Engr Ezeani was duly elected in the poll.

Speaking with shortly after the judgement,Engr Ezeani,expressed gratitude to the tribunal for the judgement which he said has vindicated him as the electorate freely gave him their mandate to represent them in the State Assembly.

''I am so glad that i have been vindicated.My constituents have been praying  to ensure that their votes still count,so,i am happy that even in the tribunal,the same vote still counted.So,i am a very happy man''
The Legislator urged his supporters to accept his political opponents and work together in the overall interest of the constituency.
''I want my supporters to work as a team with our petitioners to ensure that Anaocha 2 is a destination for anybody that will want to come to do investment.Since,they are in the know that i have two major programmes of economic empowerment and human capacity development''
