Deputy-Senate President Ikekweremadu, other Senators Storm Adamawa to Assess Boko Haram Menace reports that today, Wednesday, the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, will lead some senators to Adamawa State on Wednesday for an on-the-spot assessment of the Boko [post_ad] Haram menace currently ravaging some areas in the North-East states of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa.

Also on the crew of Senator Ekweremadu delegation to Adamawa State are Senator Ahmad Lawan (APC, Yobe North), who is the arrow head of some APC senators battling against Saraki’s senate presidency; the Deputy Senate Leader, Bala Ibn Na’Allah (APC, Kebbi South), Bashir Marafa (PDP, Taraba Central), Murtala Nyako (APC, Adawawa South), Binta Masi (APC, Adamawa North) and George Sekibo (PDP, Rivers East).
The Senate, it would be recalled, had in a resolution last week Thursday, mandated the leadership of the Senate to visit the North-East zone to assess the condition of the military operatives fighting insurgency in the areas and the plights of the displaced residents in the various camps
