The Anambra State Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Sir Norbert Obi has sounded what looks like warning to all political gladiators playing round the state that there would be no vacancy in Anambra State Government House Awka, come 2018.

Obi, who stated this in exclusive interview with our reporter at Awka, posited that with the intimidating feats achieved by Governor Obiano within a year and four months in office, no single soul would be able to outsmart him in any election.

He equally praised the state governor on what he termed ‘much celebrated security feats which other governors are paying homage, including the attraction of 2.5Billion Dollars investments into the state among other policies speaking volumes that Ndi-Anambra needs him even till 2022’.

Speaking on the fate of APGA under his watch in the state, Sir Obi disclosed that his new administration has intensified efforts towards building a stronger, vibrant and grassroots party that focuses in actualizing a modern, progressive APGA based on fairness, respect, decency and openness, and extended hands of fellowship with all the aggrieved APGA loyalties who, according to him, left because they felt that their interests were not protected by the party, stressing that he has constituted Reconciliation Committee to enhancing the sense of belonging to the party members, as well as to boosting their confidence in APGA project.

“I welcome both our new and old members. I am running an open door policy. Let us join hands to build a better and stronger party. APGA with great commitment would not only consolidate on her stand in South East but also make in-roads into other states of the federation while building a formidable party.
I will sustain the cordial relationship existing between the State government and party affiliates such as Willie Obiano Support Group; Women Group, Osodieme Support Group and Anambra Youths Assembly (U-AYA)”, he added.
