Woman Corporal Bags Commendation for Recovering Stolen Car

A Police Woman Corporal (W/CPL)  Ijeoma Ihebunezi (Force No: 041266) of Ahiazu Police Division has been given kudos for recovering an ash coloured Camry salon car (Reg. No:  JJ311EKY) at Afor Oru Market, Ahiazu Mbaise LGA, Imo State stolen from where it was parked by the owner in Port Harcourt, River State.

Presenting her with a letter of commendation for the wisdom and courage exhibited, the LGA TC Chairman, Engr. Chika Ezeji said she displayed an expectional skill and urged her to remain undetered.
The LG boss represented by the Council Director of Administration and General Services (DAGS), Comrade Alex Megwa  challenged other security operatives to emulate the rare intelligence and bravery and put public protection and safety above self  aggrandisement.
The Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Superintendent of Police (SP) Danjuma Ragga said the driver of the stolen vehicle was heading to Mbano with four others including a young lady when a friend of the car owner spotted the vehicle and alert the police woman.
He said CPL. Ihebunezi has made the division proud and urged the public to feel free to give information to the police, assuring confidentiality and prompt response.
In her response, W/CPL. Ihebunezi who could not hide her joy said she was highly honoured by the commendation and pledged her commitment to do greater job in the service of God and humanity.
