Man Jailed for Six Years Over Distributing Pornographic Pictures

A paedophile policeman who tried to foster young boys and talked about buying a baby online has been jailed for distributing indecent images of children.

David Robinson, 46, took part in sick online discussions with other child sex perverts and asked one of them if he wanted to sell his baby.
The creepy former front desk worker - who is single and has no children - also had a bedroom at his home made into a child's bedroom, with Spiderman bedding, nappies, a pram and a Moses basket.
Robinson, from Carlisle, Cumbria, pleaded guilty to 20 child porn offences and was jailed for six years at Carlisle Crown Court.
A number of the images found on his computer were the most serious 'category A' offence and some involved children under the age of five.
After the hearing, Detective Inspector Doug Marshall said: "This prosecution reflects the serious nature of the images which Robinson was viewing and distributing.
"Images of this nature have been created via the suffering and abuse of children and they are criminal offences.
"Robinson was suspended by the force as soon as he was arrested for the offences.
"The sentence given by the judge should act as a deterrent and we will continue to work to bring those to justice who believe that they can view and distribute indecent images of children."
Last year, Robinson signed up for a training course on fostering children and had a interview, which he failed.
Robinson's crimes were uncovered when an acquaintance used his laptop to check his emails and came across images of babies being sexually abused.
