The
Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Prince Okey Eze,
the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) winner of the
Anaocha/Njikoka/Dunukofia Federal Constituency with a total of 44,529 votes.
Declaring
the result at the collation center in Abagana, the headquarters of Njikoka
Council Area, the INEC Returning Officer (RO) Dr. Chukwurah Chukwunwike added
that APGA Candidate, Mr. Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo and Barr. Cyprian Udenwa of APC gathered 25,442 and 1952 votes
respectively.
Anaocha/Njikoka/Dunukofia
Federal Constituency is the constituency currently represented at the National
Assembly by Hon. Uche Ekwunife, the PDP Senate Elect of Anambra Central.
Reacting
to his victory, Prince Eze, who is a nephew to Anambra State Born-Business
Mogul, Prince Engr. Arthur Eze, pledged to reciprocate the kind gesture of his
constituents with accountability and qualitative representation.
Meanwhile,
the APGA and APC Party Agents were no were to be identified when the result was
announced.
