Jubilation As Gov. Obiano Commissions Borehole, Lay Foundation Stone At Agulu

Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano has commissioned a water borehole worth over 10 million naira at Nkunu village, Agulu, Anaocha Local Government Area.
The project was built by the state government in partnership with a non-governmental organization (Citizens of Weeze) in Germany led by Rev. Fr. (Dr) J.P.C Ikegbusi in the memory of Late Sir Raymond C. Ikegbusi (KSM).
Obiano, who sunk the borehole at the premises of Nkunu Civic Centre, also added six 750 Overhead GP- Tanks to the project, even as layed a foundation stone for the completion of the Nkunu village Civic Centre .
Speaking at the occasion, Governor Obiano who was represented by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Utilities and Water resources, Hon. Innocent Obim Anesodo described the projects as a demonstration of the readiness of his administration to partner with interested investors and philanthropists to improve the lives of Ndi Anambra across all the 774 communities in the state.
He reiterated his readiness to collaborate with well-meaning philanthropists and investors to touch the lives of Anambrarians in line with his four Pillars of economy which include agriculture, trade and commerce, Oil and gas, and industrialization.
On his part, the facilitator of the project, Rev. Fr. (Dr) J.P.C Ikegbusi said he was inspired to better the lives of his community through the quality leadership been displayed by Governor Obiano, and called on the potential users of the project to protect and keep it clean.
Expressing his joy, the Chairman, Nkunu village Agulu, Sir Greg Uluabia, commended Governor Obiano and the facilitator of the water borehole, assuring that the community would make inform use of it.
