Trader Pours Hot Stew on Neighbour

A - 36-year-old man, Adebayo Kehinde, on Monday showed up under the steady gaze of an Ikeja Magistrates' Court for supposedly pouring hot rice on his neighbor, taking after a contention on house cleaning.

The blamed individual, who is a dealer, lives at 1, Olusegun Close, Mafoluku, Oshodi, a suburb of Lagos and he is standing trial for strike. The Police Prosecutor, Insp. Benedict Aigbokhan, told the court that the offense was conferred on Oct. 23 at the living arrangement of the blamed.

Aigbokhan said that a contention happened between the denounced and his neighbor, one Mrs Goodness Orizu, on who was to clean the house.

"The denounced poured hot rice on the complainant's mid-section and bosom, which prompted to a serious damage," he said. The offense negated Section 170 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011 yet the blamed argued not blameworthy. The Magistrate, Mrs O. Olanipekun, allowed the charged N100,000 safeguard with one surety in like whole. The case was suspended till Nov. 30 for hearing.
