IPOB Accuses FG of Instigating Division Among Agitators

By reporters

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has described the newly emerged movement ‘The Reformed Indigenous People of Biafra (TRIPOB)’ as another move by the Federal Government and its agents to deceive the general public.

In a press statement released in Awka by the IPOB spokesman, Emma Powerful, the group accused the DSS of trying to create the impression that there is a faction in IPOB which goes to suggest that the federal government and their security agencies have ran out of ideas.

Insisting that the government cannot tell their citizens the simple truth, Powerful added that “The federal government and their agents have clearly ran out of ideas. Their stubborn refusal to let our people go has landed them in a tight corner. Their attempt to create a DSS-sponsored faction is proof, they don’t know what else to do.”

While Powerful stressed that Biafra is unstoppable and divinely ordained, he argued that they will not dignify their latest attempt with a response, but would rather enjoin citizens of the world to ignore what they regard as misadventure by the APC, FG and the security agents, who according to them, have lost their would be convert.

He further recalled that the federal agents failed in their attempt to use the so called MEND and their new creation, Reformed Avengers to cause a spilt in the Niger Delta Struggle, regretting that they have resorted to the same idea now on IPOB.

According to Powerful, “The federal government and its agents are confused, frustrated and defeated. Their last ditch to create a false impression of division amongst our ranks has already failed, like all other unintelligent antics before it.”

Continuing, the IPOB spokesperson added, “They could have at least used a recognizable name, to make it look real. Philip Effiong Osuji, the name they foolishly used, destroyed their intentions.

“We call on the Buhari’s government to do the right thing, free our leader and let our people go. We are also advising the lead actor of the so-called The Reformed Indigenous People of Biafra (TRIPOB), Phillip Effiong Osuji, if he truly exists, to use the money been paid to him by the security agencies well because he will surely need it later.”
