How Anambra State Shall Become Hub of Tourist Centre In Nigeria

Dr Uju Nwogu, the Anambra State new Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, has said  the state would soon become a hub of tourist centre in the country.
Nwogu, who stated this in a press briefing on Tuesday, disclosed that plans were on the way to making Anambra State of attraction in line with Governor Willie Obiano's goals.
  “Chief Willie Obiano’s administration is geared towards making our state number one tourist attraction in Nigeria...We will revamp all the tourists centres in the state. This will attract both foreign and local investors, tourists and others to our state, and increase our revenue” she said.
According to the new Commissioner, among the tourist centres to resuscitate include Ogbunike Cave, Agulu Lake, Igboukwu Museum, Nri Museum, Rogenny toursit centre.
She added that work had commenced at Ogbunike Cave by Obaino with a five star Hotel to house visitors that will come in from all over the world, especially now the governor had successfully chased out kidnappers, armed robbers out of the state, create jobs for the youth, introduced fishing, cassava, rice farming, and others for the populace.
