Some Lawmakers had failed their constituencies"-PDP Candidate Okechukwu Onuegbu

Engr. Felix Chinedu Odimegwu, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Nnewi South Constituency .2 in Anambra State House of Assembly, yesterday, lampooned some lawmakers at the federal and State Assemblies for not making effective laws aimed at empowering their constituents and Nigerians generally.

Engr Odimegwu, who made the call at Nnewi after being declared the authentic candidate of the PDP for Nnewi South 2,  added that some lawmakers had failed their constituents woefully sequel to their inability to deliver on the people's mandate.

He therefore urged our Senators, members of the federal House of Representative, and State Assembly members to have a re-think, and always put the masses welfare at the forefront, because according to him, going contrary would amount to betrayal of trust and breach of social contract.

Odimegwu, who doubles as the Co-ordinator of Senator Andy Uba campaign organization explained that the Senator had carried out many developmental projects in Anambra South senatorial zone, and Nnewi South Constituency 2 specifically through himself, and enjoined the district to return Uba and himself to the hallow chamber come the next month election.

"Senator Andy Ubah had effected quality representation to us. So, we ought to vote him again. Although the opposition may never admit the fact that Uba had delivered a lot of democracy dividends to Anambra South senatorial zone since he was elected, the achievements are glaring to all eyes...He distributed over 260 different items to us at Ezinifite in Nnewi South. These include hundreds of tricycles (keke na pep), generators, sewing machines, motorcycles, cars, television and computer sets, household equipment and cash to empower his people...."he said.

While promising to copy Senator Uba's leadership style if elected to represent Nnewi South2 at the Anambra State House of Assembly, the PDP candidate enjoined electorates to vote out elected officials who had failed to better their lives in the past four years.
