No Automatic Ticket to Candidates: APGA hail Obiano

Some members of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra State has extolled the State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano over his comment that automatic ticket would not be issued to any contestants who wished to vie for any elective position through the party in 2015 general elections.
Chief Obiano, during official the flag-off of a Non-Governmental Organization, Join Jonathan Journey (JJJ) held recently at Awka, the capital of Anambra state, had submitted that APGA  would not present automatic ticket to it faithful exception of Chief Victor Umeh, the party’s National Chairman who had been unanimously endorsed to represent the people of Anambra Central Senatorial Zone at National Assembly via the party in recognition of his track records in championing the course of the party and Igbos generally.
Speaking to Orient Daily, the APGA loyalties observed that the governor’s words if followed, would entrench free, fair and credible election, as well as endear APGA greatest opportunity to emerge victorious at the various elections holding next year, both in Anambra-Southeast and Nigeria at large.
Majority Leader, Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Barr. Harford Oseke, who spoke in an interview, described Governor Obiano as a man of his words who had transformed the state within a twinkle of an eye of steering it sheep, and charged intending contenders to sit-up in order to actualise their political dreams.
Barr. Oseke, also maintained that his party had copiously worked in tandem to its constitution which allows due process and mass participation to thrive since inception and would continue to work in consonance to such.
In a similar vein, Mrs. Nneoma Nwankwo, an Aspiring Lawmaker in APGA, expressed optimism that the governor’s words would be maintained because according to her, the current administration like the past, is gender sensitive, accommodative and democrat.
