Also, six corp members had their service year extended for committing various offences.
The Deputy Governor of the State, Mr. Sunday Onyebuchi, who performed the passing out ceremony on Thursday at the state's permanent orientation camp in Awgu, said the award bestowed on the 26 deserving corps members was to encourage hard work reward excellence.
Onyebuchi commiserated with the families of corps members that lost their lives in the course of service and wished the out-going members best of lucks.
In his farewell speech, the Enugu state NYSC coordinator Mr. Hillary Nasamu acknowledged the support of the state government and its people who he said "provided conducive environment for corps members to accomplish their assignment".
